Street Vibrations, the sixth largest motorcycle event in the nation, is expected to bring more than 35,000 motorcyclists to the Reno area.
The biker festival promises to be a good one. With plenty of new events coupled with the hell-raising activities as well-worn and comfortable as a pair of good boots - 2008 will proved to be a great year to be in Reno on two-wheels.
High-flying motorcycle jumps will take place at Carson City's Haley-Davidson dealer's. Parking for 400 motorcycles will be available on Yale Street. Live bands will play there from today through Saturday. Donnie and the Wayrads and Steel Breeze will do the honors. Livfast Moto X Freestyle teams will perform the aerial leaping. Food vendors will be dishing out their best at the dealership and fireworks Friday night will climax the Carson show at Harley-Davidson.
The Bonanza Casino will host a Biker's Prime Rib Dinner in the Branding Iron Café located inside the Bonanza Casino. Hours for the Biker's Prime Rib Dinner will run from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. through Saturday. This offer is limited to the first 500 guests per night.

Wildman rocker "Nuge" performs Friday and Saturday at 9 p.m. Tickets are $65, $55 and $45 and can be purchased online at silverlegacy.com and ticketmaster.com or by calling 325-7401 or at the box office located on the main casino floor.
Dyno Drags will be at the Harley dealer's to let participants see just how fast their bikes will go. A Harley factory truck will be on hand with a large demo fleet.
Virginia City joins in with an event location with music and vendors and parking for more than 450 bikes.
Poker walks, poker runs, bike games and several ride-in shows will keep riders busy. The event is also an official pin stop for the Harley Owners Group.
Wet T-shirt competitions will be at the Sands Regency for a little extra fun over the weekend. Casinos plan plenty of music and entertainment all over town. Check the schedule of events for times and places or see www.road-shows.com.
