The 2008 Nevada Youth Upland Hunt is set for the weekend of Sept. 27-28 for youths who are 15 years of age or younger.
Those youths must be accompanied on their hunts by an adult who is at least 18 years old.
Youths who are 12 years of age and over must possess a Nevada hunting license, an Upland Game Stamp, and if hunting waterfowl, they must possess a Nevada Waterfowl Stamp.
On the weekend of Sept. 27-28, the youths can hunt cottontail rabbits, pygmy rabbits, white-tailed jackrabbits, chukar, Hungarian partridge, California quail, Gambel's quail, scaled quail, plus: ducks, mergansers, geese, coots and moorhens.
