Barbara J. Strickland, 77, died Sept. 14, 2008, in Carson City. She was born Nov. 24, 1930, in Idaho to John Ray and Lavon Strate. She is survived by her daughter Linda Olmstead and son Frank Dalton. Capitol Cremations and Burial is in charge of arrangements.
