Crews will be working today on road projects on Carson Street, Fairview Drive and Clearview Drive. Streets will remain open, but traffic will be affected.
Carson City Transportation Manager Patrick Pittenger said the $1.1 million worth of projects running through November include:
- The reconstruction of Fairview Drive from Carson Street to Roop Street.
- The addition of northbound and southbound turn lanes at the corner of South Carson Street and Fairview Drive. Construction will be at night.
- The addition of a lane on Clearview Drive that will close eastbound traffic from Curry Street to Silver Sage Drive.
