Carson City
The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:
- A 46-year-old self-employed Gardnerville man was arrested at 11:13 a.m. Monday at Carson and Robinson streets on suspicion of misdemeanor driving under the influence of drugs and following too closely. Bail was set at $1,294.
- A 33-year-old transient was arrested at 1:20 p.m. Monday in the 500 block of William Street on suspicion of petty larceny. Bail was set at $347.
The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:
- Caller reported at
9 a.m. finding an unoccupied vehicle containing empty alcohol bottles that ran into tree on their property in the 5900 block of Highway 50 East.
- Fight report in the 200 block of Corbett Street at 9:20 a.m.
- Accident at College Parkway and Research Way at 12:52 p.m.
- Residential burglary report at 2:16 p.m. in the 1400 block of Camille Drive.
- Accident at Koontz Lane and Edmonds Drive at 5:28 p.m.
- A man reported his girlfriend came over, battered him and stole his black Range Rover at 8:44 p.m. Deputies determined the vehicle was not stolen.
Lyon County

- Misdemeanor arrest on Citrus Street in Silver Springs at 12:28 a.m.
- Residential burglary report on Silverlace Boulevard at 1:53 p.m.
