John Wesley Thompson Jr., 62, a Carson City resident, died March 28, 2009 at Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center. He was born Aug. 14, 1946 to John W. Sr. and Norma Thompson in Kansas City, Kan. Among his survivors are son John W. Thompson III and daughter Tiffany both of California. FitzHenry's Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
