Carson City


The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

- A 24-year-old Dayton man was arrested at 9:52 p.m. Monday in the 1600 block of Forrest Way on suspicion of misdemeanor driving on a license suspended for DUI. He had allegedly driven to the tow yard to collect his vehicle, which was found unoccupied and smashed into a tree in the 5900 block of Highway 50 East on March 30. It's not known who was driving the vehicle when it struck the tree. Bail was set at $1,132.

- A 35-year-old unemployed Carson City man was arrested at 7:15 a.m. Monday in the 800 block of East Musser Street on a Douglas County warrant for misdemeanor contempt of court. Bail was set at $1,000.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:

- Coroner call at Evergreen Mountain View Health And Rehabilitation Center at 1:31 a.m.

- Vehicle burglary report in the 800 block of Lexington Avenue.

- A landscaper reported a man hit him in the face on Spruce Way then fled at 10:34 a.m.

- Coroner call in the 200 block of Gold Hill Drive at 10:35 a.m.

- A woman reported at 10:59 a.m. on Kentucky Lane that she believed someone was trying to poison dogs because she found a hot dog, cut open with green crystals, presumably rat poison, inside at 10:59 a.m.

- A woman reported at 12:31 p.m. that her boyfriend, who recently fell off the wagon after years of not drinking, had been missing since Saturday.

- A man was intoxicated and passed at 7:36 p.m. out near the freeway on ramp that is under construction on Highway 50 East.


Lyon County


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday

- Caller reported "someone gouged a hole in the top of (his) Chevy Avalanche" on Pilot Way at 12:51 p.m.

- A man reported an unknown person was repeatedly calling and threatening to kill him and also making obscene phone calls to his wife at 3:32 p.m.
