Carson City
The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:
- Brooks Greenlee, 19, a pizza delivery driver from Carson City, was arrested at 9:52 p.m. Monday in the 2000 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of felony probation violation and petty larceny. No bail was set.
- A 37-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 12:05 p.m. Tuesday in the 600 block of Highland Drive on a misdemeanor warrant alleging failure to pay fines. Bail was set at $1,340.
The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:
- A passerby witnessed a man punch a woman in the face several times as they drove past in a vehicle at Roop and Musser streets at 8:24 a.m. The caller notified police and followed the vehicle. Deputies stopped it on Emerson Drive. When the tearful victim, whose nose and mouth were bloodied in the assault, denied she'd been hit, the passerby agreed to sign the complaint.
Storey County
The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:
- Burglary report at the Senior Center on North E Street at 9:16 a.m.
- A resident flagged down a deputy and turned over a found wallet at 2:43 p.m. on B Street.
