Edward M. Harris, 84, a 23-year resident of Dayton, died April 11, 2009 at Stanford Medical Center. He was born Nov. 11, 1924 in Medford, Ore. Among his survivors are his wife of 60-years Judy; sons R. Scott Harris of Billings, Mont. and Charles A. Harris of Mesa, Ariz.; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be 2 p.m., Friday at Calvary Baptist Church, 4 Flowery Avenue, Dayton. Bay Area Cremation and Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements.
