The suds are available for tasting and this local event is bringing the best of local and national beers and ciders. You're sure to find the brew for you! With live entertainment and music to enjoy, come downtown and mingle with friends at the Western Nevada College Wildcats Suds and Sounds Beer tasting, raffle and door prizes. Entertainment is included in the price of admission and the event is for people age 21 and older. All the proceeds benefit the only local college athletic program in town.

Put Your Best Foot Forward
Join the efforts of CASA in their continued hard work in assisting local children by signing up for the 3rd annual walk/run event. The cost to register includes a t-shirt, goodie bag and this event is a great family event. Children are welcome. Put those running shoes and help support Court Appointed Special Advocates, who continue the fight in giving a voice to the children of abuse, neglect and domestic violence situation
WHAT: Put Your Best Foot Forward Walk/Run. There will be a 5K course and a kids' race, which will start immediately after the 5K.
WHEN: Saturday, May 2 at 8:30 a.m.

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat
Another great upcoming event presented by Western Nevada College is the Western Nevada Musical Theatre Company exploration of color with Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. The show is a lovely, comedic and colorful journey through the Biblical story of young Joseph, sold into slavery by his brothers after his father favored him with a gorgeous colored cloak. His gift of prophecy saves him from an uncertain fate and helps him rescue Egypt from famine.
WHAT: high-energy mix of music and dancing from '50s rock to calypso to country. The show is hailed for its family-friendly storyline, universal themes and catchy music
WHEN/TIME: May 8-17, Friday and Saturday shows are at 7:30 p.m., Sunday matinees are at 2 p.m.
