Carson High School split its swimming meet with Reno Saturday afternoon.
Carson won 170-110 in the boys' meet, while Reno grabbed a 181-113 in the girls' meet.
Kevin Dyer won the 200 free in 1:56.00 and Paul Chang won the 50 free in 23.12. Kurt Anderson won the 1-meter diving with a score of 186.45. Chang finished second in the 100 free, clocking a 50.08, while Jacob Branco was second in the 200 free in 2:05.60. Cornwell was second in the 200 IM in 2:12.19.
Carson placed second in the 200-yard medley relay, clocking a 1:47.44. Cornwell, Dyer, Tim Grunert and Ashton McIntosh were members of the squad.
On the girls' side, Tatum Boehnke won the 100 fly (1:04.85), Samantha tanner won the 1-meter diving (124.55) and Elizabeth Lewis won the 200 IM in 2:33.75.
Erin Chang placed second in the 50 free in 27.34 and Jamie Showalter was second in the 200 free (2:06.69. Carson was third in the 200 medley relay.
