Douglas High School's softball team swept a doubleheader from South Tahoe, 11-4 and 13-1, Tuesday afternoon.
Douglas is 16-12 overall and 12-4 in league.
In the opener, Douglas broke the game open with seven third-inning runs to open up a 9-3 lead.
Stephanie Harper went 1-for-2 and hit a three-run homer to key the third-inning outburst. Morgan Blomstrom drove in two runs.
In the second game. Douglas scored six in the first and cruised the rest of the way.
Emily Weaver went 3-for-4 and drove in three runs, Mia Townsell had two hits and three runs scored, Blomstrom added two hits and Harper went 2-for-3 and drove in two runs.
