LEARN TO TIE POPPERS WITH GUEST TIER JOE BANIA
A tying class will be conducted by Joe Bania of Northern California on tying Poppers. Bania is a member of NCFFF, Trout Unlimited, and many of the Northern California Clubs. Bania's flies are sold in many of the fly shops in Northern California for the Delta area and many of the patterns that he has developed work well in our warmer waters. Bania has supported both the Carson City Fly Fisher's Club and the High Sierra Fly Casters with donations to their annual dinners.
The class is limited to 12 intermediate to advanced tiers. All tying materials will be provided (thread, hooks, bodies, feathers, legs, etc.). Tyers will need to bring their own vises and tools and drink. It is also recommended that they bring fine point sharpies, though we will have some.
Class is $20 per participant, payable in advance to hold your seat. Class starts at 9 a.m. at The Angler's Edge classroom. For more information call 775-782-4734.
