Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• A 49-year-old transient woman was arrested at 8:19 p.m. Thursday in the 1900 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of misdemenaor driving under the influence, driving on a suspended license, no insurance and obstructing a peace officer. Bail was set at $2,378.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:

• A caller reported at 2:05 p.m. that an elderly female neighbor on Airport Road was yelling at the man who lives in a shed in the backyard. The caller told dispatchers that the man "goes to the bathroom in grocery bags and poops in holes in the backyard," and the woman is always yelling at him to leave.

• Coroner call on Imperial Way at 12:34 p.m.

• Money was reported stolen from a home on Minnesota Street at 1:24 p.m.

• A woman reported at 2:12 p.m. receiving harassing phone calls from a bill collector for someone other than herself. She stated the bill collector was "verbally abusing" her and said something about a bomb.

• Coroner call on East Park Street at 9:26 p.m.

• Fight report on David Street at 10:02 p.m. A misdemeanor arrest was made.

• An intoxicated woman was lying on Curry Street near Seventh Street at 11:02 p.m. She was taken into civil protective custody.

• A 19-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 11:29 p.m. on Carriage Crest Drive on suspicion of trespassing. Bail was set at $407.

• Two arrested at Wal-Mart for shoplifting at 11:46 p.m.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursdsay:

• Report of a window broken on a vehicle in the 200 block of Circle Drive in Fernley.

• Vehicle burglary report on Granada Street in Fernley at 9:49 a.m.

• A woman reported at 1:58 p.m. that someone tried to break into her rental car on Palmer Court in Dayton.

• Fight report on Dayton Valley Road in which a younger "male was had a knife and was slashing tires," at 9:14 p.m. An arrest was made.

• A misdemeanor arrest was made on Highwy 208 in Mason Valley at 11:11 p.m.

Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursdsay:

• A black Chrysler PT Cruiser reported stolen from Avenue De La Bleu someime between 10 p.m. Wednesday and 5 a.m. Thursday.

• Report at 10:34 a.m. of a "blondish" female chow chow-mix dog with a blue collar that went missing from Crestview Drive during the thunderstorms Wednesday.

• A mothr rpeorted at 11:52 a.m. that her 13-year-old daughter was being harassed via telephone and text messaging.
