John Rollins shot a record-tying 10-under-par 62 Friday morning to take the early lead at the 11th annual Legends Reno-Tahoe Open at Montreux Golf & Country Club in Reno.
The 62 tied the mark held by Bill Glasson (2005) and Parker McLachlin (2008).
Rollins' round included eight birdies and an eagle on the par-5 ninth. He hit 12 of 14 fairways and needed just 27 putts on what are considered some of the toughest greens on tour.
Robert Garrigus and Marc Leishman are at 136, four strokes back.
