Carson City
The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:
• Two people were arrested Thursday night on felony drug charges at Goni Road and Arrowhead Way. Cory Nicholas Fischer, 19, of Washoe Valley, was charged with felony possession of methamphetamine, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, and two outstanding misdemeanor warrants for failure to appear. His bail was set at $5,134. Candace Cox, 19, of Carson City, was charged with felony possession of a prescription drug without a prescription, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and a misdemeanor failure to appear warrant. Her bail was set at $4,762.
• Two men were arrested Friday at 2:10 p.m. in the 100 block of East Long Street in connection with a burglary at a local business. Mario Antonio Flores-Mejia, 37, of Carson City, was charged with felony burglary, misdemeanor petit larceny and misdemeanor possession of a forged Social Security card. His bail was set at $27,250. Reed Skenandore, 44, no address given, was charged with felony burglary and petit larceny. His bail was set at $25,250.
• Richard Cressey, 43, of Carson City, was arrested Friday at 6:40 p.m. at Carson and Long streets for felony probation violation. He was held without bail.
• A 55-year-old laser operator from Carson City was arrested Friday at 4:01 a.m. in the 400 block of East William Street for misdemeanor DUI first offense, stop light violation and no proof of insurance. Bail was set at $2,051.
• A 50-year-old unemployed woman from Carson City was arrested Thursday at 10:51 p.m. at Roop and Washington streets for misdemeanor violation of suspended sentence. Bail was set at $1,000.
• A 22-year-old glass installer from Carson City was arrested Saturday at 4:21 a.m. in the 300 block of East William Street for misdemeanor DUI first offense and disorderly conduct. Bail was set at $1,456.
• A 25-year-old sheet metal worker from San Carlos, Calif., was arrested Saturday at 4:59 a.m. at Highway 50 East and Nye Lane for misdemeanor DUI first offense and basic speed violation. Bail was set at $1,239.
• A 22-year-old Fallon man was arrested Friday at 2:20 p.m. for three misdemeanor failure to appear warrants. Bail was set at $640.
