Carson City
The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:
Saturday:
• A 20-year-old was charged with battery at a Carson casino after punching a security guard in the face. The incident occurred at 9:58 p.m. Total bail was set at $26,000.
• A Carson City 20-year-old was charged with three counts of possessing prescription drugs without a prescription as well as a minor consuming alcohol after a traffic stop in the 2200 block of East Fifth Street. The arrest occurred at 5:20 p.m.
• Officers charged a Carson City man, 23, with domestic battery following a fistfight in the 1800 block of Alpine Street at 6:59 p.m. Saturday. Bail was set at $5,000.
Sunday:
• A Sparks woman, 24, was arrested at 1:50 p.m. Sunday on warrants charging failure to appeal on charges of not registering her vehicle.
• A Carson City 39-year-old was charged with driving under the influence, second offense, at 3:50 a.m. following a traffic stop at Highway 50 East and Lompa. Bail was set at $2,000.
• A $3,000 bail was set for a Carson City woman, 24, after she was arrested on charges of petty larceny. The arrest occurred at 6:24 p.m. in the 3300 block of Highway 50 East.
• A woman, 29, was jailed at 1 p.m. Sunday on charges she failed to appear to answer DUI charges in Douglas County. Bail was set at $400.
• A Minden man was charged with domestic battery Sunday after an incident in the parking lot of a Carson Street casino. Bail was set at $3,000 following the 7:18 p.m. arrest.
• An 18-year-old Carson City woman was arrested at 8:05 p.m. Sunday on charges of possessing prescription drugs, possessing drug paraphernalia and possessing a controlled substance during a probation check at her apartment on College Parkway. Total bail was set at $6,000. Her arrest was followed by that of a 22-year-old at a nearby convenience store on the same charges at 10:33 p.m.
• A Carson City man, 46, was taken into custody at 5:58 p.m. following a chase and traffic stop in the 3000 block of Airport Road. He was held in lieu of 1,757 bail on charges including DUI/drugs, reckless driving, driving with a revoked drivers' license, speeding and contempt.
Monday
• An 18-year-old prep cook from Carson City was arrested at 5:20 p.m. Monday in the 1600 block of East Long Street on suspicion of first-offense domestic battery. His girlfriend allegedly claimed he kneed her in the chest. He reportedly claimed he was trying to restrain her from hitting him. Bail was set at $3,132.
• A 24-year-old Folsom, Calif., woman was arrested at 1:39 p.m. Tuesday in the 700 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of disorderly conduct, drunk in public and prostitution, all misdemeanors. Bail was set at $1,831. Police allegedly found "several condoms, two bags full of health and beauty products, card keys from several Motel 6 in Sacramento and in Nevada ... a spiral notebook with men's and women's numbers in it ... two backpacks and a purse." According to the report, the woman had several text messages on her phone including one soliciting oral sex for $20. Another asked, "How much for half," and another requested photos.
Tuesday
• A 25-year-old Dayton man was arrested at 12:26 a.m. Tuesday in the 2100 block of Highway 50 East on suspicion of trespassing. Bail was set at $632.
• Job Rodriguez, 21, a salesman from Dayton, was arrested at 2:51 a.m. Tuesday in the 3800 block of South Carson Street on suspicion on felony theft. Bail was set at $15,000.
Storey County
The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded:
• Officers responded at 9:36 a.m. Saturday to the Lockwood area to assist Washoe County deputies looking for a man either cliff diving into the Truckee River or possibly suicidal.
• Officers responded to Lousetown Road and Long Valley Saturday after a report of a cow in the roadway creating a traffic hazard.
• At 11:54 a.m. Sunday, a caller asked deputies to talk to her neighbor about squirting her dogs with water.
• At 1:29 p.m. Monday, a report came in of a man in a white Toyota dropping off two big black dogs at the bottom of Six Mile above the lower bridge.
• A caller reported seeing two chocolate Labradors with no collars or tags at 5:31 p.m. on Six Mile Canyon Road near the lower bridge.
• A theft of a 1999 gooseneck flatbed trailer was reported at 3:22 p.m. on W Avenue.
