Louis J. Prior, 92, of Carson City died Aug. 5, 2009, at Carson Tahoe Regional Healthcare. He was born Nov. 9, 1916, in Long Island, N.Y., to Francis and Carmela (Caivano) Priore. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Rose, son Gary Prior of Reno, daughter Betty L. Prior-DeVee of Carson City and sister Virginia of New Mexico.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Happy Homestead Cemetery, South Lake Tahoe, with full military honors.
