Eileen Mae Crossett

May 25, 1929 - Aug. 12, 2009

Eileen Mae Crossett died Aug. 12, 2009 at age 80. She was born and raised in Waukesha, Wis., and graduated from Waukesha High School. She earned a bachelor of arts degree in Education from the University of Wisconsin- Madison and a masters degree at the University of Nevada, Reno.

Eileen is survived by two children, Kathleen Matheson and Mark Crossett, and grandchildren Mark Samuels, Chandra Matheson and Dylan Matheson.

Eileen worked 25 years and retired from the Nevada Department of Corrections. Her personal interests included gardening and reading. She was known for her love of holiday decoration, shopping, and her two dogs, Barron and Lady. Those closest to her know that she cherished her family and friends, who will dearly miss her.

At Mom's request, no services will be held. The family requests that, instead of flowers, donations be made to the Northern Nevada SPCA or Nevada Humane Society. Please remember Mom with love and happiness.
