Carson City
The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:
• A 26-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 7:18 a.m. Friday in the 3100 Melanie Court on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery. Bail was set at $3,132.
• A 38-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 8:06 p.m. Thursday in the 2600 block of Dori Way on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery. Bail was set at $3,132.
• A 77-year-old retired Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of hit and run and drunken driving. He allegedly said he hit the other vehicle intentionally because the other driver wouldn't move, according to the police report.
• Melinda Noriega, 46, of Carson City, was arrested at 5:18 p.m. Thursday on College Parkway on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, felon in possession of a firearm, gross misdemeanor possession of a dangerous weapon, misdemeanor violation of bail and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $26,632.
The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:
• Report of a large noisy crowd at a Silver Oak complex swimming pool at 1:50 a.m.
• A vacant residence on Rolling Hills Drive was broken into sometime before 10:10 a.m.
• A car window on Pine Lane was broken overnight.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:
• Misdemeanor arrest on Highway 50 East in Stagecoach at 2:30 p.m.
• Felony arrest on Highway 95 Alternate in Mason Valley at 5:57 p.m.
• Felony arrest on Highlands Drive in Mound House at 7:13 p.m.
• Residential burglary report on Anita Avenue in Silver Springs at 9:54 p.m.
