Inmate walks away from Humboldt camp

Prison officials and law enforcement are looking for a 52-year-old inmate who disappeared from the Humboldt Conservation Camp Monday night.

Robert Tippit is identified as a 6-foot-2-inch white male weighing about 220 pounds. He has brown hair, blue eyes and tattoos, including a barbed wire band and dragon on his upper left arm, the name "Cheryl" with a tribal design on his upper right arm.

Tippit was serving a four- to 10-year sentence for grand larceny on a conviction in Washoe County.
