Obituary: Theresa Edith Martin

Theresa Edith Martin, 83, of Carson City, died Aug. 22, 2009. She was born Sept. 1, 1925, in LaGlace, Alberta, Canada to Frank and Pauline Kinderwater. She was preceded in death by husband Gordon Martin, daughter Linda Martin Fried and grandson Luke Edward Fried. She is survived by brother Paul Kinderwater of Edmonton, Alberta; daughters Michelle Martin of Sacramento, Monette Martin (Judy Baker), Theresa Watson (Sean) and Cecilia Meikrantz (Scott), all of Carson City, and Joan Martin of Alameda, Calif.; grandchildren Nathan Fried, Mary Mabry, Lindsey, Stephen and Mary Watson, Sinead and Michael McSweeney and Camdyn Meikrantz; and great-grandson Brandon Fried. A visitation and rosary will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 27 at Autumn Funerals, 1575 North Lompa Lane, Carson City. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 28 at St. Theresa of Avila Catholic Church. Autumn Funerals & Cremations is handling arrangements.
