Backyard tree workshop today

Backyard tree care workshop from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. Saturday at West Street Market, 148 West St., Reno. The Truckee Meadows Community Forestry Coalition is hosting its inaugural Backyard Tree Care Workshop. The workshop will consist of five half-hour seminars led by local experts and will focus on the following:

New and existing tree care, new tree selection and planting, watering and xeriscaping with trees.
