Carson Cider: Festive pioneer Col. Robert Patterson, his wife and daughter Elva, concluded to try grinding out some cider and succeeded in filling a ten gallon keg. He came up with it on the Tuesday evening train and pulled out a bung stopper. There was an explosive squirt about twelve feet high.
