Welcome back to school all you Senators!
The beginning of the year is always packed with a flurry of activities and getting back into the swing of things. Finding your new locker, new classrooms and meeting new teachers and fellow students consumes this first few weeks.
For all you seniors, we are kicking off the Class of 2010's senior year with our annual Senior Sunrise on Wednesday. Seniors should gather at the north side of the football stadium by 6:30 a.m. for a free continental breakfast to watch the sun rise on their senior year.
Seniors should dress warmly, bring their friends and enjoy their first event as high school seniors.

Here is a message from our principal, Mr. Ron Beck:
It's hard to believe that summer is coming to a close and the 2009/10 year is upon us.
I want to take this opportunity to welcome both new and returning students and families to what promises to be an exciting and challenging year at Carson High School.
Our focus this year will again be assessing our progress toward meeting national, state, district and school-wide goals as they relate to student achievement. This can best be achieved when the school and the home are partners in the effort.
Please feel free to contact me, or any number of our staff with questions or concerns. We also invite all families to become a part of the school community by joining and being actively involved in the parent-teacher-student association, volunteerism, and supporting our many activities.
Many exciting events and activities will be occurring at Carson High School this school year, including the open house on Sept. 16.
We hope you will take the time to come and join us as we continue to carry on the great traditions of the Senators of Carson High School. I am looking forward to the 09-10 school year and to the opportunity to work with you and your students.
