Carson City
The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:
• A 40-year-old Carson City woman was arrested at 10:01 p.m. Friday at Plaza and Telegraph streets on suspicion of misdemeanor disorderly conduct, drunken pedestrian, resisting arrest and obstructing an investigation. Bail was set at $758.
• A 42-year-old Carson City man was arrested Friday at 10:34 p.m. in the 3400 block of Woodside Drive on two warrants for suspicion of misdemeanor contempt of court. Bail was set at $652.
• A 41-year-old Carson City woman was arrested at 11:23 p.m. Friday at Spear and Division streets on suspicion of misdemeanor obstructing an officer. Bail was set at $407.
• A 51-year-old truck driver from Dayton was arrested at 10:45 p.m. Friday in the 500 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of misdemeanor trespassing, disorderly conduct and simple battery. Bail was set at $1,606.
• A 46-year-old mover from Carson City was arrested at 10:07 a.m. Saturday in the 1500 block of Truckee Lane on suspicion of misdemeanor reckless driving, failure to yield, driving on a revoked license, second-offense driving under the influence of drugs and violation of bail. Bail was set at $7,461.
• A 53-year-old transient was arrested at 8:32 p.m. Friday on suspicion of misdemeanor threats. Bail was set at $632.
The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:
• Two teen girls reported a man in a white van stopped near them as they walked down North Carson Street and told them to get in the van at 1:15 a.m.
• Vehicle burglary report in the 3600 block of South Carson Street at 10:54 a.m.
• A $400 cell phone was reportedly stolen from the AT&T Store on Highway 560 East sometime Sunday.
• A caller reported finding some of their father's stolen property at a pawn shop at 1:41 p.m.
• Report of a homeless man with a shopping cart in the 3200 block of South Carson Street asking people for a place to stay. When police arrived, they ran the man's name and found he had a misdemeanor warrant. He spent the night in jail.
Lyon County
The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:
• Report of a vehicle losing control south of the Post Office on Highway 208.
• Report of a semi truck hitting a vehicle on Commerce Center at 2:12 p.m.
• A caller reported two 13-year-old boys were trying to set the bathroom on fire at Out of Town Park in Fernley at 5:19 p.m.
