Justice Ron Parraguirre said Tuesday he will seek election to a second six-year term on the Nevada Supreme Court.

A fourth generation Nevadan, he was first elected to the Supreme Court in 2004, succeeding Justice Deborah Agosti, who retired.

Before that, he was a district judge in Clark County for five years and served three terms on the municipal court bench.

Chief Justice Jim Hardesty, also completing his first term, also has announced plans to run for a second term on the court.
