AUSTIN, Texas (AP) - Avery Bradley scored a season-high 18 points and had five assists to lead No. 2 Texas to an overpowering 104-42 victory over Texas-Pan American on Tuesday night.

Jordan Hamilton had 15 points for Texas (9-0), while Dexter Pittman controlled the low post with 14 points and seven rebounds, Gary Johnson added 12 points and Justin Mason had 10.

Texas broke from a 45-19 halftime lead by going on a 39-13 run over the first 10 minutes of the second half. Bradley scored 12 points in the run.

Luis Valera had 10 points for the Broncs (1-10), who finished 15 of 63 (23.8 percent) from the field, including 3 of 22 from 3-point range.

No. 7 Duke 113, Gardner-Webb 68

DURHAM, N.C. (AP) - Jon Scheyer scored 24 of his career-high 36 points in the first half to lead Duke.

Scheyer was 11 of 13 from the field and hit a career-best seven 3-pointers for the Blue Devils (8-1).

Duke broke the game open with a huge early run and shot 65.2 percent - 60.7 percent in the first half.

Auryn MacMillan scored 14 points to lead Gardner-Webb (3-5). The Runnin' Bulldogs turned it over 23 times in losing their fifth straight.

Andre Dawkins scored 16 points for Duke, and Miles Plumlee and Brian Zoubek scored 13 points apiece. Nolan Smith added 11 and Kyle Singler, playing through a sprained right ankle, also finished with 11 points - all in the second half.

The Blue Devils extended several long streaks at Cameron Indoor Stadium: they won their 74th straight nonconference game there, their 34th in a row at home against unranked teams and their 47th consecutive December home game.

No. 9 Tennessee 77, Wyoming 58

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Scotty Hopson scored 14 points to help Tennessee pull away.

The Vols (8-1) struggled to slow down the normally high-scoring Cowboys (5-5) in the first half, but Tennessee's defensive pressure and fast break offense wore Wyoming down in the second.

Leading by one point at halftime, the Vols ran out to a 57-49 lead with 14:45 to go on a steal and layup by Hopson. Melvin Goins put Tennessee up by double figures for the first time with a 3-pointer that made it 64-53.

Afam Muojeke led Wyoming with 15 points and seven rebounds.

Wayne Chism had 14 points and Smith added 10 for the Volunteers, who finished two short of a season high with 15 steals, and held Wyoming to 18 points in the second half.
