Michael W. Pitts and Jennifer L. Pruitt-Pitts are please to announce, their daughter, Sumantha A. Pitts, earned a bachelor of science degree in secondary education from the College of Education at the University of Nevada Reno.
The graduation commencement ceremonies were at The Lawlor Events Center on Saturday, Dec. 5, 2009. In January 2010, Sumantha will start her student teaching assignment at the Traner Middle School in Reno.
Sumantha is a 2005 graduate of Carson High School.
