LAS VEGAS (AP) - Las Vegas illusionists Penn & Teller are again offering free tickets while bringing a touch of the macabre to Christmas with an annual campaign supporting southern Nevada's regional blood bank.

Penn Jillette is set to donate blood Tuesday morning at the United Blood Services office on West Charleston Boulevard in Las Vegas as part of the duo's "13 Bloody Days of Christmas" campaign.

Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino owner Harrah's Entertainment says Penn & Teller will provide two tickets to their show to donors during the eighth annual blood drive through Dec. 31.

Last year, the campaign drew 23,618 donors. Officials say that helped 65,030 medical patients.

Officials say the holidays typically put pressure on the community blood supply, since many people are too busy with other activities to donate.
