Enjoy annual crab feed at St. Teresa's

St. Teresa of Avila Catholic School hosts their annual crab feed at 6 p.m., Friday, Feb. 20, at St. Teresa's Church Chartz Hall, 3000 N. Lompa Lane. Cardiovascular symposium

Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center hosts a Cardiovascular Symposium, 6:30-8 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 19 at 1600 Medical Parkway. If you are affected by heart disease or have questions concerning the cardiovascular system, plan on attending. Speakers include Dr. Todd Chapman, Chief Medical Director of Cardiac Surgery and Cardiovascular Surgeon, Dr. Kevin Halow. For information call, 445-5161.

Graduation Bash for High Sierra Swing Dance Club

High Sierra Swing Dance Club hosts a "Graduation Bash" for members of its current Brewery Arts Center dance class and the general public at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 19 at the BAC Grand Ballroom, 449 W. King St. Ken Bowers will teach a basic West Coast swing lesson at 7, with two hours of open dancing for the new grads and public. Free for class members, $5 general admission. Seussical Jr. at CVIC Hall

Wild Horse Children's Theater and the Carson Valley Arts Council present "Seussical Jr.," at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 22 at CVIC Hall, 1602 Esmeralda St., Minden. "Seussical, Jr." is a montage of Seuss' most whimsical and wonderful characters, brought to the stage by Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty. Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and students, $5 for ages 12-younger, 2-younger are free.
