Waldine Marie Hicks-Tyler

Funeral services for Waldine Marie Hicks-Tyler, 85, of Carson City will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 28, 2009 at the First Baptist Church, 1759 North Mountain, Carson City.

Mrs. Tyler and her late husband, Albert L. Tyler (1981), were for many years teachers with the Bureau of Indian Affairs. Their last assignment was at the Stewart Boarding School, Carson City.

Mrs. Tyler is survived by her sister Maxine Hicks-Taylor, of Tucson, Ariz.; three nieces; five nephews; and many great-nieces, great-nephews, family members and friends who also mourn her passing.

Burial will be in Lone Mountain Cemetery. Funeral arrangements by Walton's Chapel of the Valley.
