ELKO " The Nevada Highway Patrol says an Oregon woman and two children were killed when the sport utility vehicle they were riding in overturned on a rural highway south of Wells.

Two others were injured in the Tuesday morning crash on U.S. 93.

Troopers say Hortencia Tovar, 38, of Avondale, Ariz., was driving north when her vehicle drifted off the right shoulder and struck a mile marker.

The vehicle rotated several times before it overturned on the other side of the road.

Two children in the back seat were not wearing seat belts. They were ejected and died, the patrol said. Alisia Menchaca, 43, Nyssa, Ore., riding in the front, was restrained but suffered fatal injuries.

Tovar and a 14-year-old passenger were flown to a hospital in Salt Lake City, the patrol said.
