C-Unity is a group of CHS students who plan fun and exciting events and activities for students! The eighth-grade dance for any upcoming CHS freshmen will be 7p.m. in Senator Square on March 27.
Tickets will be sold on each middle school campus, during orientation, and at the door.

Battle of the Bands is back! Auditions for any CHS student band will be 2:30 p.m. March 12 and 19. More information to come!

The fifth grade Future Senators Field Day will be May 15. Every fifth-grader in the district will receive a T-shirt and a day of fun at the high school.

There are many ways to help out CHS programs. If you are a business that would like to sponsor Battle of the Bands or fifth grade Field Day, please contact Sarah Lobsinger at 283-1749. We will be ordering t-shirts for each event. Thanks for your continued support.

The students in the Culinary Arts program competed this past weekend in Las Vegas in the state National Restaurant Association Pro Start Competition.
In the competition there are four different events: Knife Skills, Hot Foods, Culinary Management and Cake Decorating.
The CHS teams had been practiced for three months and really showed their skills against 37 other schools. Results will be in next week's article. We are proud of our exemplary CHS Culinary Program.

An Earth Day Extravaganza will be held in the CHS big gym 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday.
It is a free event for the whole family. The Extravaganza is a celebration of the Earth with fun activities and great information sponsored by local businesses and organizations. Food will be available for purchase " everything else is FREE! Come celebrate the Earth!

An Ireland & Britain tour in 2010 is being organized by Mr. T. Ackerman.
This trip is open to any student or parent. You do not need to be a student at CHS to go.
