CARSON CITY

The lunch menu for the Carson City Senior Citizens Center, 911 Beverly Drive.

Monday: Tuna noodle casserole, herbed veggie medley, coconut tropical fruit, oatmeal bar, whole wheat bread with apple butter.

Tuesday: Cabbage roll, linguini, diced carrots, spiced apples, whole what roll with apple butter.

Wednesday: Hawaiian pork chops, yams and apples, green beans, plums.

Thursday: Meatball sub, split pea soup, orange wedges, salad.

Friday: Chicken curry on rice, colorful salad, pineapple, biscuit with margarine.

DAYTON

The lunch menu for the Dayton Senior Center, 320 Old Dayton Valley Road:

Monday: Turkey chili, mixed salad, cornbread, ambrosia.

Tuesday: Crab salad, beets, Saltines, mixed fruit, sherbet, cake.

Wednesday: Hot beef sandwich with gravy, mashed potatoes, green beans, bread, orange juice, baked apple.

Thursday: Herb chicken, stuffing with gravy, pears with onions, salad, mixed berry cup.

Friday: Quiche Lorraine, sausage, hashbrowns, orange, V8 and orange juice.

DOUGLAS COUNTY

The lunch menu for the Douglas County Senior Center, 2300 Meadow Lane:

Monday: Cheese pasta bake, cottage cheese and fruit, French bread, four-way veggies, frosted apricot dessert.

Tuesday: Barbecue chicken, sour cream potato salad, spinach, corn on the cob, seven-grain bread, banana.

Wednesday: Meatloaf, marinated tomatoes, mashed potatoes with gravy, brussels sprouts, peach paradise cake.

Thursday: Crab cakes, pea salad, harvest blend rice, chuckwagon veggies, lemon bars.

Friday: Open-faced roast beef sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy, beets and onion salad, Oregon blend vegetables, butterscotch pudding.

SILVER SPRINGS

The dinner menu for the Silver Springs Senior Center, 1050 Pyramid Ave.:

Monday: Breaded fish squares on bun with tarter sauce, Tater Tots, broccoli and cauliflower, carrots, pears.

Tuesday: Vegetable soup, tuna and macaroni salad, tomatoes, beets, cucumbers, orange, rice pudding.

Wednesday: Spaghetti with meat sauce, pears, Jell-O, spinach salad, garlic bread.

Thursday: Chicken and dumplings, beets, citrus salad, fruit cobbler.

Friday: Strawberry waffles, whipped cream, eggs, bacon, tomato juice.

STOREY COUNTY

The Storey County Senior Citizens Center is located on the corner of E and Mill streets in Virginia City:

Monday: Chicken cordon bleu, wild rice pilaf, vegetables, fruit.

Tuesday: Beef stew, buttermilk biscuit, green salad.

Wednesday: Hot turkey sandwich, mashed potatoes with gravy, veggies, cookies.

Thursday: Roast loin of pork, scalloped potatoes, candied yams, strawberry shortcake.

Friday: Tuna sandwich, pea soup, Tater Tots.

YERINGTON

The Yerington Senior Center is at 117 Tilson Way:

FERNLEY

Lunch is served on weekdays at Fernley Center, 1170 W. Newlands Drive.

Monday: Chicken pasta primavera, colorful salad, garlic bread, orange-pineapple mold.

Tuesday: Ham and scalloped potatoes, green beans, whole wheat roll, pears.

Wednesday: Turkey chili, cornbread, mixed green salad, Italian dressing, ambrosia.

Thursday: Crab rolls, split pea soup, Saltine crackers, cucumber-tomato salad, apricots.
