We raise them one " Mrs. John H. Kinkead, the estimable wife of our Governor elect, was presented with the third standard silver dollar coined at the San Francisco Mint. But Superintendent Crawford, of the Carson Mint, goes one better, by presenting her with the second standard silver dollar coined here in 1879. Carson is ahead of that wicked city at the Bay.

A jolly party " The most novel and regular old sleigh parties enjoyed the breezy atmosphere. Three sleds, one tied behind the other, with singing and merriment spent a most enjoyable ride and landed at Joe Mullers.

San Francisco PWA office approved plans for Civic Auditorium in Carson City. Word was received by President A. A. Milliard of the Carson City board of trustees. Pouring of concrete for the auditorium basement and foundation is scheduled.
