Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

- Juan Aguilera-Hernandez, 20, from Carson City, was arrested Friday night in the 1200 block of Woodside Drive for felony vehicle burglary and malicious destruction of property. The owners of the vehicle reported seeing Aguilera-Hernandez entering their vehicle and held him until deputies arrived. Bail was set at $25,632.

- Hector Tinajero-Ramirez, 24, of Reno, was arrested Friday night in the 500 block of North Carson Street for felony possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell. Deputies arrested Ramirez after observing him throwing items under a parked car, which turned out to be bags of methamphetamine and cocaine. Ramirez was also charged with a probation violation. Bail was set at $18,000.

- Jose Luis Lamas-Rios, 21, of Carson City, was arrested Friday on felony trafficking of a Schedule 1 controlled substance. Lamas was in custody in the Carson City Jail when the warrant was issued. Bail was set for $100,000.

- Jonathan Brett Thomas, 48, of Carson City, was arrested Friday afternoon for felony grand larceny. The subject had warrants for grand larceny and failure to appear on a traffic offense. Bail was set at $10,167.

- A 28-year-old unemployed transient was arrested Friday afternoon in the 500 block of East William Street for driving on a suspended license and warrant out of Esmeralda Township for failure to comply. Bail was set at $1,680.

- A 36-year-old unemployed Carson City man was arrested Friday afternoon at 5th and Roop streets for misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and contempt of court. A deputy observed subject throw a cup into a bush, and when confronted, suspected he was intoxicated. A warrant check showed a contempt of court warrant for the subject. A search of his person discovered a metal smoking device in his pocket that smelled like marijuana. Bail was set for $1,486.

- A 25-year-old shipping and receiving worker from Carson City was arrested in the 500 block of North Carson Street on Friday night on a contempt warrant, and failure to pay fines. His bail was set for $250.
