Sunny skies continue

The Nevada Department of Transportation reports at 5:41 a.m. all roads open with no controls.

Road work continues in Carson City with areas of delays. There is continued work on Fairview Drive from South Edmonds to South Carson Street with lane closures and possible delays, as with East Fifth Street from Saliman Road to Fairview Drive.

Utility work is being done on Little Lane between Saliman Road and Roop Street, mainly between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m., with lane restrictions on Little Lane and South Roop Street. Alternate routes of travel are Fairview Drive to the south and East Fifth Street to the north.

Work on Highway 50 in east Carson City and Mound House has posted lower speed limits with narrow lanes just east of Flint Drive.
