LAS VEGAS " A former Las Vegas police officer has been charged with lewdness after he was accused of molesting two girls when he was still on the job.
Richard Gagnon was arrested last month by North Las Vegas police on 26 counts of lewdness with a minor under 14, according to court documents.
The arrest came more than two years after Gagnon resigned from the Las Vegas police force in May 2006.
The documents say the girls, now 17 and 11, came forward in November.
They alleged that Gagnon groped them, usually while they spent the night at Gagnon's home, between 2001 and 2003.
