BOYS

CARSON JV 77, DOUGLAS 63

Carlos Carrillo led the Senators with 28 points. Chris Steele added 14 for Carson, which improved to 14-2 overall, 7-0 in league.

DOUGLAS FROSH 50,

CARSON 42

Max Keller led the Senators with 17 points in a losing cause. He had help from Nate Landis, who added 12, and Ty Keffer, who had eight. Carson is now 15-5 overall and 4-3 in league.

GIRLS

INCLINE 49, SILVER STAGE 36

Ariel Highsmith had a team-high 15 points in Silver Stage's defeat. The Nighthawks also got seven points from Mariah Gramolini as Silver Stage fell to 0-6. Silver Stage returns to action Saturday against Hawthorne.

CARSON JV 36, DOUGLAS 28

Tiana McAllister scored a team-high nine points and Ashley Saarem had seven as Carson improved to 6-1 in league.

DOUGLAS 29

The Lady Senators went down to the wire and held on for a win over Douglas. Taylor-rae Canfield and Kaitlyn Holmes each had two assists.

Megan Justice overcame early foul trouble to block three shots and pull down six rebounds. Carson remains unbeaten in Sierra League play at 7-0 and is 20-1 overall.

VOLLEYBALL

EIGHTH GRADE

CARSON MIDDLE SCHOOL 2, EAGLE VALLEY 1

Kenzie Tillit led Carson with six kills, two assists and four aces as CMS took a 25-22, 11-25, 15-9 victory. Brooklyn Maw added three kills, seven aces and six digs, while Maddy Saarem notched four kills, five assists, one ace and two digs and McKenzie Price contributed four kills, seven aces and six digs.

Courtney Hack led Eagle Valley with one ace, six assists and four kills, followed by Jocelyn Young (with nine digs and six kills) and Katie Lytle (three aces, six digs, one assist and two kills.

Carson is now 3-1 and will face Pau-Wa-Lu Thursday at 3 p.m. Eagle Valley is also 3-1.

SEVENTH GRADE

EAGLE VALLEY 2, CARSON 2-0

Jennifer Purcell had eight points to lead Eagle Valley to a 25-23, 27-25 victory over Carson. Savannah Smith added seven points, including three aces and two kills, and Maria Ayala and Megan Goodale contributed three points each.
