Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

- A 22-year-old construction worker from Carson City was arrested at 6:54 p.m. in the 1500 block of Airport Road on suspicion of misdemeanor failure to appear on a traffic citation, domestic battery, driving without a valid license and driving without headlights. Bail was set at $4,760.

- A 20-year-old unemployed Carson City man was arrested at 5:34 p.m. Tuesday on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery and resisting arrest. Bail was set at $3,000.

- A 30-year-old security guard from Carson City was arrested at 2:59 a.m. Wednesday in the 1400 block of Edmonds Drive on suspicion of probation violation. Bail was set at $3,000.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

- Coroner call in the 2800 block of Highway 50 East at 4:24 a.m.

- A caller from New Ridge Drive reported hearing her garage door open and close at 4:30 a.m. A vehicle burglary report was taken.

- Report of modular homes on a sales lot on Highway 50 East being burglarized sometime before 9:41 a.m.

- Report at 9:47 a.m. of a door pried open and tools stolen from a shop on Rhodes Street.

- Coroner call in the 700 block of North Sutro Terrace at 10:14 a.m.

- A woman was reportedly robbed at knife point of her cell phone at 2:32 p.m.

- A customer service worker reported that Safeway received three fraudulent money orders at 3:13 p.m.

- A man reported a co-worker threatened to stab him, then attempted to run him over at 3:35 p.m.

- Report of a silver 1999 Honda sedan with a purple passenger door and no front bumper stolen from Curry and Spear streets at 6:27 p.m.

- A man reported his son's friend found a loaded handgun in the gutter in the 2000 block of North Carson Street at 6:51 p.m.

- Report of an 84-year-old patient missing from an assisted living facility in the 2800 block of Mountain Street at 11:01 p.m. The staff last saw the man at 5:45 p.m. The man was found outside, "a little chilled, but no need for fire department," at 11:52 p.m. He was released to his brother.


Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

- Report of a man at Mound House brothel on Kit Kat Road slitting his wrists in the parlor at 3:11 a.m.

- Arrest on Washoe Circle in Silver Springs at 7:03 p.m.

- Arrest on Sunset Hills in Mason Valley at 8:51 p.m.

- Misdemeanor arrest on West Street in Yerington at 10:20 p.m.


Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

- Report of possible mail theft on Harte Road at 9:34 a.m.

- Report of a propane cylinder "making unusual noises" on Canyon Way at 9:36 p.m.
