Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

- A 20-year-old unemployed man from Dayton was arrested at 1 p.m. in the 800 block of East Musser Street on misdemeanor suspicion of contempt of court and failure to appear.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

- Report of a car egged and tires flattened in the 5300 block of Ethel Way at 9:11 a.m.

- Garage burglary in the 3300 block of Woodside Drive at 9:30 a.m.

- Report of a heater stolen from the 2100 block of California Avenue at 1:46 p.m.

- Report of a threatening text message received by a woman at 8:24 p.m.

- Two customers walked out of Grand Central Pizza without paying at 8:36 p.m.

- A burglar entered the Port of Subs on North Carson Street sometime during the night, ripped the security alarm from the wall and stole money from the safe.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

- Report of a disgruntled employee threatening a business owner with a hammer in Mound House at 9:01 a.m.

- Report of a weapon possibly brandished during an argument at Dayton High School at 1:09 p.m.

- Report of juveniles fighting at bus stop on Jennys Lane in Fernley at 2:38 p.m.

- A Yerington woman reported someone attempted to cause "damage to her electricity" and she'd also received a threat to be burned at the stake.
