It is not an uncommon thing to hear Nevada people growling about the way they are persistently misrepresented by the eastern press. Ever since the picture of a lot of men with their pants in their boots, dancing at Episcopal festival in Carson, appeared in a New York illustrated paper, we have been disposed to think that Carson was a maligned locality.

Mound House to be renamed? Long time resident wants a name change for Mound House. In the past it was called different names including, New York House, Half Way House. The proposed new name to be "Sierra View."
