RENO - Reno Aces pitcher Bobby Korecky and infielder Rusty Ryal have been selected to participate in the 2009 Triple-A All-Star Game on July 15 at PGE Park in Portland, Ore., the Pacific Coast League announced today.

Korecky and Ryal, the first Triple-A All-Stars in Aces franchise history, are two of 28 players chosen to represent the Pacific Coast League in the 22nd-annual Triple-A All-Star Game. Players were selected by fans, media and managers from each club.

Korecky, 29, has been the anchor of a solid Reno bullpen throughout the first two-plus months of the season. Reno's closer leads all Arizona Diamondbacks minor leaguers with 12 saves on the season through the end of June. Korecky has been dominant for much of the season, finishing off the month of June with a scoreless outing in six-straight and 13-of-14.

Ryal, 26, has been one of Reno's most consistent and versatile players in his first season at the Triple-A level. Through the end of June, Ryal batted .286 with a team-leading 10 home runs and 47 RBIs, splitting time between second base, third base and shortstop.

The 2009 Triple-A All-Star Game is scheduled for 7 p.m. PT on July 15 and can be seen live on ESPN2. The International League roster will be announced on Thursday.
