Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• Kevin John Leone, 20, of Carson City, was arrested at 12:58 p.m. Wednesday in the 2200 block of Highway 50 East on suspicion of felony possession of heroin, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to stop on the signal of a police officer and speeding. Bail was set at $4,371.

• Ted Foley, 51, unemployed with no known address, was arrested at 1:49 p.m. Wednesday in the 900 block of East Musser Street on suspicion of gross misdemeanor battery on a peace officer, misdemeanor resisting a peace officer, felony uttering a forged instrument and misdemeanor failure to appear in Douglas County. Bail was set at $18,196.

• Paris Brianne Gamwell, 19, of Carson City, was arrested at 11 a.m. at Imperial Way and Nye Lane on suspicion of gross misdemeanor child endangerment. She was allegedly under the influence of a controlled substance and living in a vehicle with a 9-month-old baby. Bail was set at $2,500.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:

• Report of tires slashed in the 900 block of Mountain Street sometime Tuesday night.

• Accident at Long Street and Saliman Road at 11:32 a.m.

• Report of two men fighting in the 1400 block of Koontz Lane at 12:43 p.m.

• A shoplifter was detained at Safeway at 3:06 p.m.

• Report of two men taking items out of a home on Palo Verde from which the tenants had been recently evicted.

• Report of minor injuries in a single-vehicle rollover near the Goni Road water tank at 6:04 p.m.

• A man reported at 11:38 p.m. that his neighbor on North Peters Street hit him with a pillow because the neighbor thought the caller had not returned shorts he'd borrowed.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:

• Misdemeanor arrest at the Fernley Wal-Mart at 12:22 a.m.

• Report of a man yelling at passing vehicles on Main Street in Fernley. A 49-year-old man was taken into civil protective custody.

• Felony arrest on Starlite Drive in Fernley at 2:45 p.m.

• Felony arrest on Yellow Jacket Road in Mark Twain at 4:32 p.m.

• Report of a 19-year-old female falling out of a moving vehicle on Beach 5 at Lahontan State Park at 5:18 p.m.
