Rodney L. Hemmingsen, 60, died June 19, 2009, in Carson City. He was born Feb. 3, 1949, in Albany, Ore., to Sidney and Geneva Hemmingsen. He was preceded in death by one son, Travis L. Hemmingsen. He is survived by his wife, Pam; two daughters Jaemi Henricksen and Staci Wilde; two sisters Terry Wright and Sandra Kirk; and three grandchildren. A graveside service will be 3 p.m. Friday, July 10, at the Northern Nevada Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in Fernley. Capitol City Cremation is in charge of arrangements.
