Carson City
The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:
• Eileen Powers, 40, a nurse from Carson City, was arrested at 8:15 a.m. Wednesday in the 1900 block of Belmont Avenue on suspicion of felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor domestic battery. Bail was set at $5,632.
• A 71-year-old unemployed transient was arrested at 8:47 a.m. Tuesday in the 1800 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of misdemeanor trespassing. Bail was set at $632.
• A 26-year-old landscaper from Carson City was arrested at 10:25 p.m. Monday in the 5100 block of South Carson Street on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery.
• A 34-year-old unemployed Carson City man was arrested at 9 p.m. Tuesday in the 1400 block of Como Street on suspicion of misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $732. Also arrested was an 18-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman, each on suspicion of misdemeanor minor consuming alcohol and disorderly conduct. Bail for each was set at $457.
• A 62-year-old retired Carson City man was arrested at 5:34 p.m. Tuesday in the 400 block of Riparian Way on suspicion of drunken driving. He allegedly drove through a fence and a breath test showed blood-alcohol content at .27. Bail was set at $3,132.
The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:
• A vehicle burglary report in the 200 block of Fairview Drive at 7:57 a.m.
• Accident at Roop and Corbett streets at 2:15 p.m.
• Embezzlement report on North Plaza Street at 2:27 p.m.
• A brush fire in the 2900 block of Menlo Drive at 4:42 p.m.
• Report of 20 people fighting in the 1400 block of Como Street. Three were arrested.
Lyon County
The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:
• Misdemeanor arrest on Nevin Way in Yerington at 7:13 a.m.
• Misdemeanor arrest on South Main Street in Yerington at 9:51 a.m.
• Misdemeanor arrest on Lois Lane in Fernley at 2:28 p.m.
• Misdemeanor arrest on North West Street in Mason Valley at 8:35 p.m.
• Felony arrest on Sierra Street in Yerington at 8:44 p.m.
Storey County
The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:
• Report of a semi-truck hitting a street sign and boulder. No one was injured.
• Report of a roaming pit bull on South C Street at 8:47 a.m.
