Thanks to all who ensured success for Kids Fishing Derby

Once again with the combined effort of the Ormsby Sportsmen's Association and special friends, the 20th annual Kids Fishing Derby June 6-7 was a great success.

We gave 30 reconditioned rods and reels as loaner poles and 58 new rods and reels that included eight special spinning reels with tackle combos for special prizes, plus four tackle boxes with some tackle included.

We would like to thank our friends at Ed's Doghouse, Jeff at Farmer's Insurance, Cheryl and Forrest at Goodi's Lemonade, Pete at Iron Horse Cantina, the Peppermill Hotel-Casino, Rick Templeton Development, Dayna at North Carson City Wal-Mart and Cher and Levita at the New Washoe Bar.
