Carson City
The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:
• An 18-year-old hotel employee from Incline Village was arrested at 5:22 a.m. Thursday on South Carson Street on suspicion of misdemeanor driving under the influence of a controlled substance and failure to maintain a lane. Bail was set at $1,239.
• A 29-year-old self-employed landscaper from Reno was arrested at 5:15 a.m. Thursday in the 4000 block of Gordon Street on suspicion of misdemeanor failure to appear and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $1,419.
• A 35-year-old unemployed Carson City man was arrested at 11:50 p.m. Wednesday at North Carson and John streets on suspicion of misdemeanor contempt of court. Bail was set at $500.
• Martin Escobar-Guerra, 23, a laborer from Carson City, was arrested at 7:40 p.m. Wednesday on suspicion of felony probation violation. No bail was set.
The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:
• Accident in the 3000 block of North Roop Street at 4:03 p.m.
• Vehicle injury report in the 200 block of South Richmond Avenue at
12:09 p.m.
• Fraud reports on Emerson Drive, Travis Drive and College Parkway.
• Domestic battery reports on Comstock Circle and Village Drive.
Lyon County
The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:
• A caller on Main Street in Fernley reported at 3:53 a.m. that a shirtless man walked up to the caller's truck and started yelling at him and tried to get into the vehicle.
• Report of cash stolen from a register on Stokes Drive in Dayton.
• A caller on Kiowa Lane in Silver Springs reported someone purposely ran over her dog at 8:24 a.m. The dog's condition was not noted.
• Misdemeanor warrant arrest on Bridge Street in Mason Valley at 9:40 a.m.
• Battery report on Harbor Road at 11:35 a.m.
• Report of three pistols taken from a Stagecoach Drive home over the weekend.
• Misdemeanor arrest on Peach Lane in Smith Valley at 4:38 p.m.
