Rotate Black, Inc. of Petoskey, Mich., says it reached a deal with Schaller Development Group to build The Traditions Casino at Dayton.

The planned casino is located on Highway 50 east of Sutro Tunnel Road.

Construction of the phased development casino is scheduled to begin the fourth quarter of 2009. The 15,000-square-foot first phase completion is anticipated mid-2010. Once all phases are completed, the Traditions Casino will include 1,000 slot machines, 20 gaming tables and a sports book with bar, steak house and snack bar.

The original plans for the project, approved by the Lyon County Commissioners in 2008, called for building a 79,000-square-foot facility with 30,000 feet of gaming space and two restaurants. A second phase called for construction of a 250-room hotel and a third restaurant.

Rotate Black, Inc. is currently developing the Seneca Catskills Resort Casino in upstate New York and a casino in Goa, India.

Schaller Development Group, with managing partner Richard Schaller, has built several gaming and resort related projects in Nevada. Recent projects completed by his construction firm, SMC Construction, include the new Peppermill Casino Tower and the Atlantis Casino bridge to the Reno Tahoe Convention Center.
